Youtube has gone the way of Napster. It had to happen sooner or later. Most videos on youtube are snippets of copyrighted material, including the clip or two of Jerious Norwood that I’d posted on there.

Today my inbox greeted me with this from youtube:

This is to notify you that we have removed or disabled access to the following material as a result of a third-party notification by National Footbal [sic] League claiming that this material is infringing…

Thanks, No Fun League. I understand your interest in enforcing your copyrights. But poo-pooing on harmless short clips created and enjoyed by fans is just mean. Booooooo!!!! Go spend your time shooting down real criminals that are reselling entire copies of NFL games or pirating the NFL Sunday Ticket.
