Today I heard an illegal version of “Orion” from the Master Of Puppets album. It was background music in a certain online video.

I thought it cool enough that I went out to Best Buy and bought Master Of Puppets.

See how that works? Lighten up.

“Death Magnetic” releases today. Also available are Guitar Hero III add-ons for Xbox360 and Playstation3. Woo-hoo!

UPDATE: I picked up the CD today at Best Buy. I give it thumbs up. It is old-schoolish Metcallica. Its not Master Of Puppets, but its not the Black Album either (which I liked also, BTW). Samples are available on Metallica’s website.

Cool: Metallica has a new album, Death Magnetic, coming out Sept 12th.

Cooler: Buy Death Magnetic at Best Buy and get 11 Metallica Guitar Hero III tracks with it.

Less cool: The Guitar Hero III tracks are only for the Xbox 360 platform.
